Play Hard. Travel Often.
Okay listen…. if you know me, flying in a small aircraft with only four seats and keep in mind seats that are on TOP of each other. Y’all it’s just not the first thing I would sign up to do. However, I’m lucky enough that my husband is a pilot and I GET to go flying!! It’s not something that comes easy or enjoyable right away. But, it’s sloooowly becoming a “together” thing that we do! I’m getting more used to it as time goes on…
This past weekend, we had our first date night flight!! We flew to Gainesville, Texas which is just North of Fort Worth. It’s a super small town, full of just about nothing. One thing they do have is some dang good Mexican food and a gorgeous starry night sky. I mean how much better could that get?! We are fixin’ to plan some other great flying date nights such as a trip down to Waco and another trip to the middle of no where for some star gazing. So romantic I know.. But y’all the only reason is in order for me to fly I have to put a purpose to the flight in order for me to get in that darn plan. There has to be a light at the end of the tunnel… Light being I get to go to the Magnolia Silos in Waco and have a picnic dinner while watching the night sky. I mean who wouldn’t get in a small plane for that? Truth be told, it’s a fun way for Colin and I to “get away” and have quality time (our love language!)
On the bright side, I’m featuring Aviate Brand on the blog and I’m super excited for it because I love this brand and mission behind the company. As y’all can see, DFW is the three letter word on this hat. For those who don’t know, DFW stands for Dallas Fort Worth. (my homeland!!) This three letter word also is an airport code assigned for major cities. With that being said, that alone can bring so many memories, whether that be your home town or your favorite vacation spot. Aviate has just about every major city in the US and other fun hats, accessories, and super neat collections too! Shop Aviate hats and more HERE!
I hope y’all have a great week full of playing hard & traveling often!
Love from Texas,
